Meal #1 Berrylicious Smoothie Berrylicious Green Smoothie by Elizabeth @ Rawlivingandlearning.blogspot.com 8 oz frozen mixed berries 1/3 C raw pumpkin seeds 1 C filtered water 1 C ice 4 C kale 2 T Hemp oil 3 T white chia seeds 3 bananas 2 Medjool dates Blend in a high speed blender till creamy. In the center of the greens, place the shredded carrots. Top the carrots with the diced orange. Dress salad with raw honey mixed with fresh key lime juice. Meal #1 Fruit Salad Smoothie Fruit Salad Smoothie by Elizabeth @ rawlivingandlearning.blogspot.com 4 large kale leaves (these were very large leaves!!) 1 C organic, red grapes 2 bananas 6 oz frozen organic raspberries 2 T white chia seeds 2 T flax seeds handful of raw pumpkin seeds Blend in a high speed blender until smooth. Enjoy! Today was great, I cut a large bunch of bananas off our banana trees in the back yard. I bet you can guess what I was having for lunch. The upper half of the bunch was yellow and ripe. I had fresh picked bananas and a couple of clementines for lunch. How great is that! Meal #1 Vanilla Mango Madness Vanilla Mango Madness by Elizabeth @ rawlivingandlearning.blogspot.com 1 C filtered water 8 oz frozen mango 2 frozen bananas 2 medjool dates 1 tsp good quality vanilla powder 4 C chopped kale 2 T white chia seeds 2 T hemp oil 2 T raw pumpkin seeds Blend in a high speed blender till creamy. Enjoy! Meal #2 Sprouted Lunch--This is so simple, just the way I like it. I plated some sunflower greens, white clover and broccoli sprouts and topped it with a few Harry and David pear slices. Meal #1 Strawberry Banana Mylkshake Smoothie For this meal I started by making a batch of fresh vanilla almond mylk. It is so easy to just fill the blender with 16 oz filtered water, throw in a large handful of soaked and sprouted raw almonds and blend into creamy goodness. Next I strained out the pulp using a nut milk bag. Back in the blender went the mylk and I added 2 medjool dates, powdered vanilla and a pinch of sea salt. Blend well. We used the mylk in our green smoothie this morning. It was more like a milkshake than a smoothie and it was spectacular. Meal #1 Tropical Blend Smoothie The children and I really enjoyed this smoothie. It was so creamy from the small amount of soaked almonds and walnuts that I added. I only used 1 tablespoon but it made such a difference in the texture of the smoothie. When I don't have fresh nut milk on hand I'll just throw in a few whole nuts, whatever I have stashed in the freezer. I pre-soak and sprout nuts, allow them to air dry and then pack them in bags in the freezer.
