Raw Carob Cacao Fondue

Over the weekend I was looking for a sweet treat that was super quick to make and only required ingredients I had on hand. I came up with a raw carob/cacao fondue. I had just bought some beautiful blackberries, strawberries and baby bananas. They were begging to be smothered in fondue!

I used my mini container for the Tribest travel size blender.

I adore this container for making tiny batches of things. It is so powerful and so easy to clean. Here are the ingredients:

RAW Carob Cacao Fondue

by Elizabeth @ rawlivingandlearning.blogspot.com

4 Medjool dates, pitted

water for blending, add slowly and in tablespoon increments

2 teaspoons of Truly Raw Carob Powder

2 teaspoons of raw cacao powder

vanilla to taste, I used 1/4 teaspoon

Blend until creamy and smooth. If your dates are dry you may need to soak them first in some water to soften or they will not blend smooth. Enjoy!

+JMJ+ Today I am grateful for children begging for berries!! Children love this recipe!! So do adults.

thanks kelli...I have been loving my blue nail polish!! I found it at our local "health" store, Max Wellness. It is suppose to be lacking the nasty chemicals found in traditional polish. It is called "Zoya" it goe on so easy and lasts a long time w/o chipping. Peace.

THIS was AWESOME!!!! I quadrupled the batch since I had to use my blender. The kids LOVED it and so did I! (My daughter who saw me reading your post said when she tasted the fondue said, "She is good!") This is a new go-to! Thank you so much! I am one pregnant happy woman! (I used all cocoa powder as I have no carob.) Absolutely yummy!
